How to Get Your Voice Heard During a Legislative Session
Tuesday, February 9th
5pm – 6pm CST
Being an advocate is all about using your voice to take a stand and educate your friends and community members about things in your school and community you are most passionate about. Being a youth tobacco prevention advocate is the same except you’re taking a stand against an industry who has deceived us and manipulated us for over a century to use products that cause harm and death.
So, how do you take a stand against Big Tobacco? How can you use your voice to create change that will help protect your friends, family, and community from the vaping industry? How can you as a young person who may not even be able to vote yet help create the first tobacco-free, vape-free, and nicotine-free generation? By getting your voice heard by your state elected officials.
This training presented by the Say What! Teen Ambassadors and Consultants, will give you an inside look at the youth tobacco prevention efforts that are occurring during this legislative session, why you should take action this year and how you can get involved, and how you can get your voice heard by your Senator and Representative during this unique legislative year.
If you missed a webinar or would like to listen again, you can easily watch the recording below.

Then, listen to the Principal of Harold T.
