Teen Ambassadors Meet With Legislators in D.C.

Two Say What! Teen Ambassadors were selected to participate in the 2015 Youth Advocacy Symposium hosted by the Campaign for Tobacco-Free Kids in Washington, D.C. July 24th-27th. They they were among 26 youth from across the country representing 20 states, and received training to advocate locally, statewide, and nationally for tobacco prevention policies. After two straight days of intense education and training, the youth advocates visited senators, representatives, and legislative staffers to advocate for the FDA to have the ability to fully regulate e-cigarettes and cigarillos.

Congratulations to Alexus Galindo and Carlos Vela on their selection and successful representation of Texas youth who support healthy, tobacco-free lifestyles!
